We offer engineering courses in conjunction with Project Lead the Way, plus Ford Next Generation Learning, Robotics, Logistics, Aviation Maintenance and more. We also offer Advance, AP and Dual Credit Course offerings, along with a complete complement of extracurricular programs.

Our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) focus allows us many opportunities for hands-on, real world learning in the aerospace arena. Our students have had experiments on the final voyage of Space Shuttle Endeavor, on a weather balloon that went to the edge of the atmosphere (shown here), on board the International Space Station and will be sending a PocketQUBE satellite into space in the Spring of 2015.

In the last last year of the flight program, they will spend over 40 hours at the controls of a Cessna 172 in order to complete the necessary requirements to earn the FAR Part 141 Private Pilot's License. At no cost to the student!
  • Science and Engineering Club Recognized by JCPS School Board Science and Engineering Club Recognized by JCPS School Board After months onboard the International Space Station studying the effects of microgravity on fermentation of yeast, the Science and Engineering club's SpaceBrew experiment returned to earth. The club presented their experiment at the November 10, 2014 JCPS Board of Education meeting.
