Principal's Message

Welcome to our Web site! This site has been developed as a resource for families, community members, and students to keep you informed about the wonderful things happening here at Blake Elementary.  

It is my honor to be the principal at Blake. My goal is to support the students, families, faculty, and staff in order to provide the best teaching and learning experience possible. The work that we do here is meaningful and exciting work, and our students’ learning needs are the primary focus of all decisions impacting the work that we do. We have high expectations for every student to ensure that we are preparing each one for a successful academic future. We know that each child is unique and differs from other individuals in their capabilities, interests, needs, and rates of physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth. Our school has a positive atmosphere where students feel valued, respected, and cared about by our teachers and staff, which motivates them to excel. We want to support you in any way we can. We know you have choices in where you send your children and we are honored you have chosen to send your precious children to us.
