It is my pleasure to welcome you to Zachary Taylor Elementary. Our school is located in eastern Jefferson County at the corner of Westport Road and Hurstbourne Parkway. Our outstanding staff strives to provide the highest quality educational experience to each of our students. We maintain a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages parent/family participation in our many programs.In 2003 Zachary Taylor was awarded the designation of a NICE school. Our PTA is extremely active and provides many activities and educational advantages to our staff and students. We support our academic curriculum with full time Art, Computer, and Arts and Humanities programs. We also offer an Advanced Program for gifted and talented students. We are proud to be an active partner with local businesses and the surrounding community. A Family Resource Center (FRC) and the YMCA's daycare program (CEP) are also located at our school.
