We believe that all students will develop their abilities and gain knowledge in all subject areas. Students will build on past learning experiences to process information and develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge that will assist them in reaching proficiency.
BOTTOMS
Colors: Tan/Khaki, Navy, Black
• Pants- Uniform Type (Boys and Girls)
• Walking Shorts (Boys and Girls)
• Skirts (Girls) - No more than 4 inches above the knee
• Jumpers (Girls) - No more than 4 inches above the knee
No sagging pants or shirts. Belts MUST be worn if there are belt loops. No jeans (denin), bib over-alls, sweat pants, jogging or warm-up suits.
TOPS
Colors: SOLIDS ONLY- White, Navy, Yellow
• Collared shirts only - long or short sleeve
• Turtlenecks - regular or mock
• Sweaters - must be worn with a turtleneck or collared shirt
• Sweatshirts - Solids in uniform colors or a Zachary Taylor sweatshirt. Must be worn with a turtleneck or collared shirt
ADDITIONAL NOTES
1. Accessories - no key chains, hats or bandannas may be worn in the building.
2. Footwear - Socks, tights, or hosiery required. Laces MUST be laced and tied. No heels over 1”.
3. Casual/Out of Uniform Days - ONLY when specified school wide. Zachary Taylor t-shirts may be worn to school on these days only.
4. All clothing must be sized to fit. No oversized clothing.
