Computer Lab
The Computer Lab is a very vigorous instructional class. Kindergarteners spend most of the year getting to know the computer and working on Word Processing skills. Starting in first grade, the students study word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, the Internet, Internet safety, and some social/ethical skills. They can compose a Word document, a Power Point presentation, and an Excel Spreadsheet from scratch before they even enter the intermediate grades.
This year we are using Easy Tech with 1st thru 5th grades. Our 5th graders take the district 21st Century Skills Assessment each spring.
