Young Carpool Group
If you would like to share driving responsibilities to and from Whitney Young but don't know of anyone living close to you who also goes to Young, you may be interested in joining an online Google group established specifically to help facilitate the process.
To join, simply go to this site and submit a request for membership:

Then, once you've confirmed your group membership per the instructions in the reply e-mail, simply send an e-mail with your Zip Code in the subject line to
whitney-young-es-carpool@googlegroups.com
In the body of the e-mail, you can give the days that you would be available to drive, or after-school events to which you'd like to share rides.
Your e-mail will be distributed and will be only visible to the other members of the carpool group; anyone living near you who'd like to share rides can reply to your message. The reply will go to you, and you can then, privately, exchange addresses and other specific information.
