Agenda Use & Wednesday Folders

Agendas
All students K-5 have been provided with an Agenda. It is a tool to aid students in being academically successful. It is useful in supporting students in meeting their academic and personal goal by keeping families of students in the know and allows families to plan together. It is the primary source of communication between home and school. All notes to
and from your child’s teacher should be put in the Agenda. All homework and behavior issues will be documented in the Agenda. All teachers who work with your child will communicate through the Agenda. Agendas must be signed by a parent/guardian every night and returned to school daily. Students without Agendas are violating school policy and will receive consequences outlined in the discipline plan. Lost agendas must be replaced. The replacement cost is $3.
Wednesday Folders
There are so many announcements that go home from school. To make it easier for families to stay on top of this information, we have designated one day each week to send them home. All students will bring a Thundercat Communication Folder home every Wednesday and return it on Thursday. This folder contains newsletters, fliers, and announcements for parents/ guardians from the PTA, school office, classrooms, FRC, and/or the community. In order for families to make choices about when and how they are going participate in school life please check this folder every Wednesday. Replacing the Thundercat Folder costs $3.
