Come join the Whitney Young Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA)! We are always looking for active members. This year's goal is 250 members. Be 1 of the 250. Send in your $5 fee with your student. Any adult that is vested in the success of a Young student can be a member. The fees support various activities for students, staff, and parents.
Nominations for the current school year PTA Board members are accepted from the first of August through the first of September. If you are interested or would like to nominate an individual, please contact the current PTA president, Mitzi Wilson, at 485-8354.Parents will vote on the nominations at the first full body PTA meeting held to kick-off the Open House event.
