Hello (Ni Hao),

I am proud to be the first elementary Chinese language teacher in Kentucky. I am a native of Hong Kong, China, and have been teaching Mandarin Chinese in Kentuckian Chinese School for five years.

China is a land rich in culture. It was hidden for many years from the West. Our goal will be to introduce our students to the many facets of Chinese life through the study of the primary language, Mandarin. Students will learn of the daily life of students their own age in the country, their holidays, and arts of the Chinese people. We will also teach Chinese reading and writing.

With so much to offer, I can promise students an exciting course of study. Let’s explore the world and have fun learning Chinese.
