Summer 2008--Shelby Students exhibited photography at the KY State Fair as part of a project for integrating Visual Arts in Core Content with Geometry and Photography.

2007-2008, renewed for 2008-2009--Shelby Elementary scored a Health Promotions Schools of Excellence grant to help underwrite fitness activities for students and the school community.

Fall 2007--Shelby students improved their CASA (Computer Applications Skills Assessment) scores and were awarded the Mary Grace Jaeger Award for achieving mastery in those skills.

Fall 2006--Shelby students CATS scores improved! The school's Total Academic Index rose from 62.9 in 2005 to 71.0 in 2006. Great work students, teachers, and everyone who contributed to this awesome achievement!
