Welcome to the Sanders Elementary School Library Media Center homepage. This site is designed to provide our school community with access to quality research materials and information. Our mission is to support the staff and students in reaching curriculum goals and promote a life-long love of reading. Our philosophy is to educate all patrons to be lifelong learners.

As your library media specialist I will strive to:

Provide quality resources

Provide students, parents, and teachers with links to the library policies and checkout schedule

Provide teachers with links to Internet resources useful in the classroom

Provide strong curricular and instructional leadership

Participate in instructional collaboration

Incorporate media literacy into the library curriculum

Provide opportunities for intermediate students to learn how a news broadcast is done through the TIGER news team.

Provide students with research and recreational links
