Dress Code 2011-2012 Dress code policy

The Mill Creek Leadership Academy Magnet Program holds firm to its belief that students design their own destiny towards leadership.  As such it chooses a unique dress code and grooming policy that helps establish an environment that is conducive to productive student learning.  The expectations set value in confidence, cleanliness, neatness and pride in one’s appearance.  Believing that you only get one chance to make a first impression and you dress for the job that you want (leader) not the job you have (student).  This policy becomes the responsibility of each student.  Mill Creek teaches students that they dress to be “taken seriously” at school and at work The Administrative staff has final decision on what is considered acceptable in both dress and grooming decisions.
