From the Principal
Dear Kennedy Families,
It is my honor to greet you for the first time as principal of Kennedy Montessori Elementary School. It has been my privilege to work with you and your children over the past 3 1/2 years, and I look forward to many more years at Kennedy doing what we do each day to support our Cubs in their academic and life successes.
There are many things I am looking forward to in 2016, among them is continuing our work equipping our children with the tools needed for academic and social successes. As principal of Kennedy Montessori, I promise to love and care for your children and to treat them as if they were my own, to support our teachers toward high-quality teaching, and to expect ALL adults to model respect, integrity, and accountability for the benefit of our students. I believe in our students, our families, and our staff, and expect everyone, including myself, to show up every day prepared to do our parts so that we all reap the benefits of our efforts now and in the future.
During winter break, ILT members and I were able to select and recommend an individual to be our next assistant principal. As of this writing, the person has not been notified, so we are not able to say who he or she is until the offer has been made by Human Resources. I expect the offer to be made within the next few days and our new assistant principal will join us as soon as he or she is released from his or her current school. I’ll say more about the individual as soon as I’m given the go ahead.
Principal, Kennedy Montessori Elementary School
