Library Programs

Reading is Fundamental (RIF)

The RIF program is a national organization that was founded in l966 and has been supplying students with reading books since that time. Nationwide, the program provides approximately 13 million books to children annually. If you would like to volunteer on a distribution day, please call your school librarian at 485-8215.

There are three distributions this year - October, February, and April.

See librarian for details.

Morning Telecast

Fourth and fifth grade students run the morning telecast on a rotating basis. Each month a new crew is selected by the librarian from the fourth and fifth grade classes. Students must earn the right to be on the news team by exhibiting good school citizenship.
