I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University in elementary education with certification from Kindergarten through Grade Eight. I received my Masters of Arts degree in Elementary Education at Indiana University, and have 15 hours toward a Rank I in Counseling at the University of Louisville. 

I taught grades 4 and 5 in elementary school for 25 years. I then taught 6th and 8th grade Science and Language Arts for five years in middle school.
