Applying to Middle and High Schools
The middle and high school registration and application period for the 2015-16 school year is October 20, 2014, through January 9, 2015. Any students who have moved, students new to the district, and any student interested in an optional program, magnet program, magnet school or a high school career theme may apply.
Middle and High School
JCPS middle and high school students are assigned to the middle or high school that serves their home address. This is known as their resides school. An application is not required for a student to attend their resides middle or high school. Parents should contact the middle or high school that serves their home address for enrollment information.
Middle and high school students may choose to apply for one of the district’s magnet schools, magnet programs, optional programs, 5-Star Professional and Career Themed programs, or high school open enrollment. An online application is required for a magnet school or program.
