The Core Content Guides- Click Here
Curriculum and Assessment developed the Core Content Guides for Jefferson County Teachers. In addition to the hardcopy format, a web-based database has been created with the help of Computer Education Support. The document and database provide a guide for addressing the Kentucky Core Content for Assessment (KCCT) and support the KDE Program of Studies. The Guides provide sample lesson plans and sample assessments for each unit of instruction in the areas of Reading and Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Practical Living, and Arts and Humanities. Guides for both the first and second 18 weeks of instruction are now posted and available.
